ABOUT Greater Grace Hospital

A Legacy of Care. A Commitment to Life.

Compassionate, trusted healthcare in Adenta, Accra, since 2005.

Our Story: Founded on Compassion, Built on Grace

Greater Grace Hospital was founded on 26 June 2005 by Dr Boasiako Antwi-Yeboah, MB ChB, FRCOG, a medical professional driven by a deeply personal commitment to giving back to his community through accessible, high-quality healthcare.

Located on Pantang Road in Adenta, Accra, Greater Grace Hospital began with a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and the highest respect for human life.

What began as one doctor’s vision has grown into an established private hospital, serving generations of individuals and families across Adenta and the wider Accra community.

Since opening our doors, we have supported patients through some of life’s most important moments — from welcoming newborn babies into the world to helping families manage illness, maintain their health and live healthier lives.

Our journey has been shaped by the dedication of our medical professionals, the trust of our patients and our enduring belief that healthcare is more than a service. It is a responsibility to humanity.

More than two decades later, that founding philosophy continues to guide everything we do.

Our Founder: Dr Boasiako Antwi-Yeboah

A Vision to Serve. A Legacy That Endures.

Greater Grace Hospital is the realisation of Dr Boasiako Antwi-Yeboah’s passion for medicine, humanity and service to his community.

A medical doctor and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), Dr Antwi-Yeboah established the hospital with a determination to make professional, compassionate healthcare accessible to the people of Adenta and beyond.

His philosophy was grounded in a profound respect for human life, from conception and throughout every stage of life.

He believed that excellent healthcare should combine medical expertise with kindness, respect and genuine concern for the individual.

That vision became the foundation of Greater Grace Hospital.

Through his leadership and the dedication of successive generations of healthcare professionals, the hospital has developed a lasting relationship with the community it serves.

Today, his founding principles remain central to the hospital’s identity: to care for people, protect their dignity and make a meaningful difference to their lives.

Our Mission

To provide compassionate, accessible, high-quality and cost-effective healthcare to our community while promoting healthy lifestyles and improving the wellbeing of the people we serve.

We are committed to delivering healthcare that is professional, ethical, respectful and responsive to the needs of every patient.
